Holding Space (UR Student Owns Their Power) - Day after the attempted coup

This student was being filmed/videoed for an upcoming production of the University of Richmond Theater Department, and they allowed me to take some photos as well.

They are a Sociology major with a lot of coursework in Dance.

I had many ideas for titles for this post:

“Unapologetic”

“Black Man Owns His Space”

“The Fierceness”

This young person looks like they are looking into the future and are not quite sure they like what they see, but knows it must be faced.

For some reason I am reminded of Donald Glover.
