Maximum Dad Energy

This community member gave me permission to take his photo. If you see this gentleman placing sand on the stone plinth, it’s because people who have become known as the “power washers” come through Richmond, sometimes from as far away as Florida, and apply dangerous acidic chemicals to try to scrub the graffiti off.

They usually come armed with assault rifles, very large ones, to “protect” each other while they apply the dangerous chemicals.

This dad doesn’t want little children to hurt themselves by slipping on the gelatinous chemicals or by putting their hands down in acid when they clamber over the stone.
